- Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy (DSMA) was established on September 15, 1916. The Institute was granted the rank of State Academy in 1920, and it was renamed Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy (DSMA) in 1994. The Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy is comprised of eight academic buildings with a total of 608 classrooms and laboratories.. Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy educates around 4000 students and employs over 600 teachers, including 100 doctors of sciences and 350 candidates of sciences.
- The main goal of the premedical course is to provide students with language training and general education disciplines that will enable them to successfully continue their studies at university and to become highly qualified specialists who will be able to work in their chosen specialty in various countries around the world.

If the student is in the General category, he or she must have a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, as well as English as a compulsory subject.
From 2019 it is mandatory to pass the NEET exam in order to study in any country abroad .
Students must have finished a regular board or university's 10^th +2 or equivalent.
If the student is from the SC/OBC/ST Category, they must earn at least 40% in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry in their 12th grade, and English must be a compulsory subject.
In India, there are no entrance exams such as IELTS or SAT. NEET certification is required.
The student must be at least 17 years old on December 31st of the year in which admission is sought.
