Colleges occasionally organise field trips for students to gain real-world experience and exposure in their respective fields. At National Medical College, separate hostels for boys and girls have been built. The 2boys’ hostels together contain 500 rooms, while the ladies’ hostels each have 400 rooms.

- Completion of 10th + 2 education or equivalent with a minimum of 50% in aggregate and not less than 50% in each of the areas of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
- From 2019 it is mandatory to pass the NEET exam in order to study in any country abroad .
- Students must have finished a regular board or university's 10th +2 or equivalent.
- "O" & "A" Level Certificate ( i.e Marksheet, Character Certificate, Migration Certificate.)
- If English is not taken at the 'A' level, at least 50% in English at the 'O' level or equivalent examination is required.
- In India, there are no entrance exams such as IELTS or SAT. NEET certification is required.
- The student must be at least 17 years old on December 31st of the year in which admission is sought.
- Candidates applying for medical courses must satisfy all of the qualifications outlined in the Medical Council of India's rules (MCI).
