National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala is a government-run technology-driven institute of higher learning. It was
established in 2006. NIT Agartala is the 2nd NIT in the country to offer double degree courses
in Engineering Physics. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering also offers a 3-
year degree program, leading to MCA courses. NIT Agartala has achieved 70th rank for
engineering in NIRF 2019.
