Manipal University is now known as Manipal Academy of Higher Education, (MAHE). It is
deemed to be a UGC-approved university. The university was established in 1953 with the aim
of interdisciplinary research. It has been given the status of Institution of Eminence by the
Ministry of HR Development, Government of India. MAHE offers 350 UG, PG, doctoral, and

Admission Procedure
- One needs to take the Manipal Entrance Test (MET), formerly called MU-OET.
- It is required to get 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and any Biotechnology or Chemistry or Biology or any technical vocational subject simultaneously.
- Admissions are made based on rank in Manipal Entrance Test (MET) through Manipal Counseling.

personality development are also offered to the students and help them prepare better for the
recruitment process. The institute also ensures that they can help keep most students in various
companies by helping them in every possible way. Manipal University also conducts practice
sessions and mock test classes on Quantitative Ability, Aptitude, Reasoning, and Logical for
