  • About the Institute
  • IGDTUW is a women’s university located in New Delhi. Founded in 1998 as the Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, it became the first women’s technical university in India established by Government of Delhi after gaining autonomy in May 2013.

  • Scholarships
  • Few Full-Time Research Scholars registered in the Ph.D Programme under Fellowship Schemes are offered financial assistance by IGDTUW. In order to get the Fellowships, candidates have to qualify the RAT Examination and interviews. The number of fellowships is limited.

  • In 2019, National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked IGDTUW 162 among engineering institutes in India.

  

  • Campus
  • The Campus has a library, an auditorium, a dispensary, computer labs, a bank and a guest house. It also has a room for yoga facility and indoor games. Wi-Fi is available and infrastructure is well maintained. The campus has two hostel buildings- Krishna Hostel and Kaveri Hostel.

  • B.Tech/ B.Arch : Admission towards a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor Of Architecture (B.Arch) degree in IGDTUW is done through the Joint Admission Counselling Delhi (JAC-Delhi) on the basis of JEE Mains Rank.
  • M.Tech : Admission towards MTech degree are done on the basis of GATE scores.
  • MCA : An entrance test is conducted by IGDTUW
  • BBA : Merit-based admission are done for BBA.
  • Ph.D. : Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and an interview is conducted for PhD programs.
