- The B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) was formed on January 18, 1993. The Institute, which is located in Eastern Nepal, has expanded its ongoing health services to Primary Health Care Centers, District Hospitals, and Zonal Hospitals in many districts throughout the region by teaching the district concept. It offers socially responsible health treatment and education to the general public.
- Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala, Nepal’s visionary leader, inspired the name of this college. He desires for Nepal’s national integration in order for the country to advance in society. The B.P. - From 2019 it is mandatory to pass the NEET exam in order to study in any country abroad .
- Students must have finished a regular board or university's 10th +2 or equivalent.
- "O" & "A" Level Certificate ( i.e Marksheet, Character Certificate, Migration Certificate.)
- If English is not taken at the 'A' level, at least 50% in English at the 'O' level or equivalent examination is required.
