- The B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) was formed on January 18, 1993. The Institute, which is located in Eastern Nepal, has expanded its ongoing health services to Primary Health Care Centers, District Hospitals, and Zonal Hospitals in many districts throughout the region by teaching the district concept. It offers socially responsible health treatment and education to the general public.

Hostels, libraries, auditoriums, computer labs, cafeterias, laboratories, hospitals, sports, and other amenities are available to students at the institute. For Indian students, Nepal’s culture, culinary habits, and language are all familiar, so they won’t need to make any major modifications. - Students must have finished a regular board or university's 10th +2 or equivalent.
- "O" & "A" Level Certificate ( i.e Marksheet, Character Certificate, Migration Certificate.)
- If English is not taken at the 'A' level, at least 50% in English at the 'O' level or equivalent examination is required.
