Uttarakhand MBBS/ BDS admissions will be based on NEET results and students with the top ranks, including NEET toppers, will be able to apply for Uttarakhand MBBS Admission 2020 as well as for the 15% of All India quota. The result of NEET 2020 was released on 16 October 2020 and the All India Quota Counselling is in process by MCC website.

  • Candidates must have studied Biology, Chemistry, Physics OR Maths up to class 12 board exams to apply for Uttarakhand MBBS and BDS Admission 2020.
  • General category or unreserved category candidates should score at least 50% aggregate marks in the class 12 board examinations.
  • Students belonging to the unreserved PH category are required to score at least 45% in the same subjects, while SC / ST / OBC A or OBC B and their PH category must have a minimum of 40%.

The Uttarakhand MBBS/ BDS selection process will be based on the NEET score obtained by the students in this year's examination, their category, and their nativity. The counseling will be held for both domicile and non – domiciled holders and they will be allowed to fill their priorities. However, Non domicile holders are only eligible to apply for private seat under Management Quota.

The candidates who are mentioned in the merit list will be given a state rank based on NEET 2020 with their names. The seat will be allotted based on the NEET score, NEET rank, and category basis for which they have applied. Candidates appearing in the Uttarakhand Medical Merit List will be eligible for the state medical seat allotment round.
