    • Professor Dr. S.B.Mujumdar, the Founder and Chancellor of the Symbiosis International University, developed the Symbiosis Medical College for Women (Deemed University). The medical college is located in Lavale, Pune, on the picturesque campus of Symbiosis International (Deemed University).
    • The concept of establishing a medical institution solely for women came from Ms. Anandibai Joshi. Symbiosis has developed this special Medical College for Women under the Faculty of Health Sciences with the goal of empowering women and contributing to nation building by expanding the number of female doctors. A total of 150 students will be accepted each year. The medical college, as well as the Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Centre, are equipped with cutting-edge technology. Our senior team will assure the greatest possible training for generating empathic, ethical, and compassionate female doctors.

Medical College of Symbiosis lecture halls are large, brightly illuminated, and well-ventilated. The Symbiosis Medical College Library is 1200 square metres in size. SMCW Library includes 200 seats and a large collection of medical and related literature and e-resources.
