  • About the Institute
  • Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College established in 1986 by Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust. It has an 850 bed Teaching Hospital to accommodate the clinical-teaching requirements of medical students. The hospital has departments in all specialities.
  • The trust has obtained accreditation for its Medical College by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC, India) and Certification by ISO 9001-2000 in the year 2006. This college is one of the few medical colleges in India to have achieved this as early as in 2006.

  • The admission to the MBBS and MS/MD courses shall be done strictly on
    the basis of All India overall rank obtained in the National Eligibility cum
    Entrance Test     (NEET UG & PG respectively) conducted by the National Board of
    Examinations. The online counselling for admission will be done by Directorate
    General of Health Services.
  • Stipend for PG students-
  • 1st year : Rs. 30,000 per month
  • 2nd year : Rs. 35,000 per month
  • 3rd year : Rs. 40,000 per month
