- Clinical disciplines and practical seminars will take place in specially equipped classrooms outfitted with human dummies and medical tools such as microscopes, chemical and physics equipment. The Salymbekov Medical University has various current multimedia and specialised technology in its practical laboratories. During medical school, the school also organises a variety of extracurricular events, sports sections among other things.

- If the student is in the General category, he or she must have a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, as well as English as a compulsory subject.
- From 2019 it is mandatory to pass the NEET exam in order to study in any country abroad .
- Students must have finished a regular board or university's 10th +2 or equivalent.
- If the student is from the SC/OBC/ST Category, they must earn at least 40% in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry in their 12th grade, and English must be a compulsory subject.
