- In 1996, Nepalgunj Medical College was established. Lord Buddha Educational Academy Ltd (LBEA) was founded with the goal of helping the country progress by delivering excellence in the medical field. Soon after, a collection of well-known entrepreneurs, medical specialists, educationalists, and socially recognised individuals banded together to fulfil the social commitment, and “Nepalgunj Medical College” was born. They began their first batch of MBBS students in 1997, a year after the college opened, and students graduated in 2002.
- In 1997, the college began offering an MBBS programme, a nursing programme in 2000, and a postgraduate programme in 2007. Nepalgunj Medical College (NGMC) has received approval from the Nepal Medical Council, the Medical Council of India, the Medical Council of Sri Lanka, and the Medical Councils of the SARC and other countries.

Completed 10^th +2 education or an Intermediate of Science or equivalent examination (e.g. GCSE A Level course comprising Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and an AS/O Level course in English with at least C standing in each subject) with Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English as major subjects, with not less than 50% marks in each subject individually and a 50 % overall aggregate.
From 2019 it is mandatory to pass the NEET exam in order to study in any country abroad .
Students must have finished a regular board or university's 10^th +2 or equivalent.
"O" & "A" Level Certificate ( i.e Marksheet, Character Certificate, Migration Certificate.)
If English is not taken at the 'A' level, at least 50% in English at the 'O' level or equivalent examination is required.
