NIT Warangal is a deemed university, ranked 19th by NIRF for 2020. The college was formerly known as Regional Engineering in a series of 30 NITs. It has a huge campus for 3500+ students including faculty members. Since it is a residential campus, it has 16 residential blocks to provide accommodation to 3400+ students, 200 teaching staff, and 350+ administrative staff.

NIT Warangal is in the process of organizing its 2021 Placement Drive, in which 590 students have already been placed in various sectors of the industry, of which more than 130 students have already received offers over INR. 20 LPA. Apple offered placements to two students, while Atlacian offered the highest placement package of INR. 52 LPA.

Worth CTC. 349 students received an average offer of more than INR 10 LPA. Maximum number of placements took place under CSE department.
