- The university is 292 kilometres from Kathmandu and takes ten hours to reach. Buses run frequently between Kathmandu and Tansen. Lumbini Medical College includes two distinct hostels for boys and girls, both of which are fully furnished. Students who choose to reside in the hostels must pay the accommodation cost in advance for four and a half years and must stay in the hostel for the entire five and a half years of study. Lumbini Medical College is one of the MCI-accredited medical schools, and the World Health Organization has given it its approval. - From 2019 it is mandatory to pass the NEET exam in order to study in any country abroad .
- Students must have finished a regular board or university's 10th +2 or equivalent.
- "O" & "A" Level Certificate ( i.e Marksheet, Character Certificate, Migration Certificate.)
- If English is not taken at the 'A' level, at least 50% in English at the 'O' level or equivalent examination is required.
- In India, there are no entrance exams such as IELTS or SAT. NEET certification is required.
- The student must be at least 17 years old on December 31st of the year in which admission is sought.
- Candidates applying for medical courses must satisfy all of the qualifications outlined in the Medical Council of India's rules (MCI).
