The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is located in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1959. This is the third IIT established in collaboration with the Government of India. Look at the previous academic year, it is much more than that. In the 2019-20 academic year, 20 companies made 102 job offers.
