- Birat Medial College (BMC) is Nepal’s newest medical school, having opened in 2014 as an extension of Kathmandu University. Every year, 75 students from around the world join us to pursue their lifelong passions and aspirations. We got our first batch of 75 students by November of 2014, and they are continuing studying with us.
- Since then, neither BMC’s health care services nor its academic facilities have stopped expanding. By 2015, established a new community-oriented teaching hospital, which is now a comprehensive 350-bed tertiary care facility. We see thousands of patients every day as a group and are well on our way to become a major medical centre in the future.
