- About the Institute
- BVCOEW was formerly known as the Bharti Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering for Women . It was affiliated with the University of Savitribai Phule Pune University..
- Hon’ble Dr. Patangraoji Kadam Saheb established Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering
for Women, Pune in June 2000 with the vision,“Women empowerment through Technical Education” and provided opportunity to women for higher education in the field of technology. The institute was started exclusively for women and it is running with 100% women students. Establishing and running Women Engineering College really contributes to social transformation through dynamic education which is the vision of Bharati Vidyapeeth. - Established in Pune in June 2000 ’s first engineering college.

Recipient of “College of Substance” Award. - Among engineering colleges, FSAI Best College Award on 10th February 2017. BVCOEW college has won the First-prize for Annual college magazine “OYSTER-13”, at the hands of Hon. Dr. Vasudeo Gade Vice Chancellor, University of Pune on Date 7th May 2014.

- Facilities in BVCOEW includes a library, a computer centre, a sports complex,’ girls’ hostels, Bank Facility, Gymnasium Facility. The campus also has residential facilities for faculty and staff. It has excellent infrastructure and well-structured space. Wi-Fi is available in the campus. There is play grounds for sports like basketball and cricket.
