Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE-Main) is an examination organised by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in India for students who are looking forward to admission in various undergraduate engineering and architecture courses in institutes accepting the JEE-Main result.

The JEE Main Exam 2020 was conducted between January 7 and 9, 2020. A total number of 9,21,261 aspirants were registered for B.E. /B. Tech. in this examination out of which 8,69,010 aspirants appeared. NTA declared the JEE Main Result of 2020 in just 9 days.

State code of eligibility means the state from where the candidate has passed Class 12th Examination.
It is important to note that the State code of eligibility does NOT depend upon the native place or the place of residence of the candidate. It depends only from where the candidate have passed Class 12th Examination.
If a candidate has passed Class XII (or equivalent) qualifying examination from one State but appeared for improvement from another State, the candidate’s State code of eligibility will be from where the candidate first passed the Class XII (or equivalent) examination and NOT the State from where the candidate has appeared for improvement.
